Before my oldest fell in love with Angry Birds, he once had a thing for dinosaurs. The Maiasaura is a dinosaur named for being a “good mother lizard.” While I’m a stay-at-home mama to five little ones every day, some days are more good and others more lizard. I’m also a wife and a yoga instructor, and a part-time college writing teacher. Writing is one way for me to process anything and everything that comes my way through the various roles and loves in my life. At my core, I am bookworm and music-loving introvert, but above all I believe that connection with others is what keeps us sane and keeps our hearts open to new possibilities.
